Gianni Carta is an editor at CartaCapital. He is a journalist and political scientist trained at the University of California and with a Masters in International Relations from Boston University. He was correspondent for CartaCapital in Europe for 17 years. During his more than 20 years abroad, he was also correspondent for the Brazilian magazine Isto É, the Brazilian daily Diário do Grande ABC, special reporter for the BBC World Service, the US TV channel CBS News and the weekly GQ (Europe). He has contributed to, among others, The Guardian and Radio Five Live. His latest book: Às Margens do Sena (with Reali Jr., Ediouro, 2007).
